Ascendo Resources is partnering with an international law firm client on their search for a Practice Manager for their office located in Washington, DC.

We are seeking a self-motivated professional with the experience to effectively communicate across departments with management, partners and finance professionals.

This position will directly support the assigned practices while also working and collaborating across the firm's internal departments. Excellent communication skills and professionalism are essential to be successful in this role.

Responsibilities to Include (but not limited to):

Will communicate with all departments, partners and stakeholders to create and execute strategic goals.

Work closely with the firms Finance Department to track and analyze groups financials and other key indicators to and create plans accordingly so that group set revenue goals.

Work closely with the firm’s talent department to track work productivity markers and set performance goals while managing any performance issues within the group.

Manage the business and operational needs of the practice group, which will include setting and managing groups operational budget.

Required experience:

• Bachelor's degree, JD or MBA (preferred)
• A minimum of 5 years of experienced as a practice manager within a law firm, or working as a practicing attorney of business professional with experience focused on practice management.
• Experience working with White Collar and Antitrust of regulatory practices preferred.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business operations and financial metrics.
• Advanced proficiency of MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
