Why Work at Androscoggin Valley Dental

Mission Vision statement
Part 1: Celebrating and gratitude
Almost ten years ago, I set out not just to build a dental practice, but a home, one rooted in honesty, care, and connection. And today, standing here a decade later, I’m filled with gratitude. Gratitude for every one of you who’s helped us grow, for every patient who’s trusted us with their care, and for the community that’s welcomed us into their lives.
Ten years is no small feat. It represents thousands of moments — shared smiles, early mornings, teamwork, and the kind of dedication that turns a vision into reality.
Our Mission
“Our mission has always been simple yet powerful: to provide honest, accessible, educational care. That’s our promise — not just to our patients, but to ourselves.”
Our Vision
“Our vision is to be the leading dental home where patients feel empowered and cared for. And I believe we’ve already built the foundation of that future.”
Our values show up in the small, everyday ways we serve:
Honesty, when we guide patients through their options with transparency and respect.
Accessibility, when we make care possible and comfortable for everyone who walks through our doors.
Education, when we take time to help patients understand their health.
Caring, in every follow-up call, every comforting word, and every smile we share.
Excellence, in how we show up every single day — committed to our craft and each other.
Community, through every outreach event, every collaboration, and every patient relationship we nurture
As we step into our next ten years, our mission doesn’t change — it expands. We’re not just building smiles; we’re building confidence, comfort, and connection. We’re deepening the trust we’ve earned and continuing to raise the standard for what compassionate care looks like.
This next chapter is about growth — in our skills, our service, and the impact we make on the lives around us. Inside and outside the practice.
Community Outreach
World Smile Day: Giving Back With Purpose
Each year, our team celebrates World Smile Day as a reflection of Dr. Gulati’s commitment to supporting those in need within our community. To honor this mission, we dedicate an entire day to providing dental care for individuals who may not otherwise have access to treatment, donating more than $10,000 in services annually. We also love connecting with local families through events like Trunk or Treat, where we shared smiles and met over 500 children in a fun and welcoming environment. These moments allow us to extend our care beyond the office and strengthen the relationships that make our community so special.

Community Engagement
Sharing Smiles at Trunk or Treat
In the spirit of Halloween fun, our team was thrilled to participate in this year’s Trunk or Treat, where we connected with more than 500 children and their families. The event was a wonderful opportunity to bring smiles to little faces, share helpful dental information, and build meaningful relationships within our community. Moments like these allow us to make oral health education fun, approachable, and memorable for families.
Community Support
Driving Hope for Local Families
Our commitment to Coos County Family Services continued through our support of the Tee Up for Hope event, which raises funds to assist local cancer patients and their families. We are honored to play a part in such a meaningful initiative, helping provide comfort, resources, and hope to members of our community during challenging times.

Giving Back
A Confident Smile for a Brighter Future
This year, we were honored to donate an Invisalign treatment to a child in the care of the state of New Hampshire. Providing orthodontic care is about more than straightening teeth—it helps build confidence, supports long-term oral health, and empowers young patients to smile proudly. We are grateful for the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact in a child’s life.
Compassion in Action
Supporting Patients with Care and Kindness
In a quiet yet meaningful effort, our team has come together to contribute anonymously to a support fund for patients who may not be able to afford the treatment they need. This shared commitment reflects our belief that everyone deserves access to compassionate dental care, and it allows us to make a positive difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Team Development
Celebrating Betty’s Professional Growth
We are proud to celebrate Betty’s achievement in earning her Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification this year. Her commitment to advancing her skills reflects a deep dedication to patient care and clinical excellence. Betty’s growth strengthens our team and enhances the high-quality experience we strive to provide every day.
Patient Care
Standing Beside Our Patients
When one of our patients faced extensive cancer treatment, our team came together to offer support beyond the dental chair. We created a heartfelt card, gathered donations to help with travel expenses, and contributed a gift basket to an auction to assist with fundraising efforts. Moments like these reflect our belief that caring for our patients means standing with them through every step of their journey.

Team Culture
Growing Stronger Together
We believe that a connected team creates an exceptional patient experience. This year, we celebrated our hard work with a team-building trip to Orlando, Florida, made possible through Dr. Gulati’s leadership and everyone’s dedication. The well-deserved time together strengthened our bonds, boosted morale, and energized us for another year of collaboration, growth, and outstanding care.

Continuing Education
Learning Together, Advancing Care
Several members of our team attended the Invisalign Education Program in Las Vegas, where they explored the latest advancements in clear aligner technology and earned valuable continuing education credits. The experience provided hands-on learning, strengthened our clinical knowledge, and allowed us to grow together as a team—ensuring we continue to deliver precise, modern orthodontic care to our patients.
